ISKCON DumDum is located in the northern part of Kolkata, very close to the DumDum airport.
Important landmarks around the temple include:
- the famous Motijheel Park (100mtrs),
- DumDum Metro Station (1km),
- DumDum Railway Station (2km),
- The temple is situated on Motijheel Avenue, opposite to the Motijheel Post Office.

Kolkata has a very efficient and well-connected network of air, rail and road. You can reach us by any of these modes of transport.
By Air
The Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport is connected to all major cities by a network of flights. The temple is just 4 km away from the airport. You can hire a cab or an auto-rickshaw for “Hare Krishna Mandir near Motijheel Park” from the airport.
By Rail
Kolkata is well linked with other parts of the country by a huge network of trains. Those travelling from eastern, western and southern parts of India can book their tickets till Howrah Junction while travellers arriving from the north are served by Sealdah Station. Apart from these two major railheads, there are others such as Kolkata Station and Shalimar Station serving the city of Kolkata. Buses, cabs and taxis are easily available from outside the railway stations.
By Metro Train
Kolkata has a very efficient and well-connected metro railway system. One can catch a metro train from any part of Kolkata to come to DumDum station on the north-south line. After exiting from the gate no. 3, one can hire an auto-rickshaw for “Hare Krishna Mandir near Motijheel Park”. Walking to the temple from DumDum station also doesn’t take more than 15-20 minutes.
By Road
Kolkata is also perfectly connected by a road network to the rest of India. You can drive to the temple by following the directions on Google Maps or any other navigation app. To book an Uber / Ola cab from any part of Kolkata, just enter “ISKCON DumDum” as the destination.
